M.P.A. Executive Director - Ellie Kueper
Ellie has been developing dance programs, teaching, operating and directing studios for forty years. She now brings this extensive knowledge and experience to M.P.A. Under her stewardship, Midwest Performing Arts (not-for-profit) will allow dancers and performers to bring enjoyment of the arts and give something back to the community.
Miller brings her stellar teaching credentials and knowledge as a successful financial advisor to the Board of Directors of M.P.A. Her accomplishments include a Masters Degree in Education, earning the "Teacher of the Year award", and Certification as a Senior Financial Advisor. She also finds time to work as a volunteer in the community, provide personal counseling to individuals, and even be a published author. Miller will be an invaluable asset to Midwest Performing Arts.
Lee tutored grade school children and taught religion at her parish while raising five children. She has contributed her talents to a number of organizations including the League of Women Voters, Another Mother for Peace, and the United Farm Workers Union. Her marketing and managerial skills were honed over seventeen years with the Hallmark Marketing Corporation. In addition, she has volunteered for the Rockwood School District and the Giant Steps Autistic Center. Lee will be a vital member of the board for Midwest Performing Arts.
ANDREW C. RIES
We are pleased to announce the addition of our new board member Mr. Andrew C. Ries.
Andy is a lifelong St. Louis native. He and his wife Mary raised six children. Andy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Louis University. He continued his education at the University where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. He later received his certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
His professional career covers 30 years with Deloitte & Touche, an international accounting firm. He served as a Midwest Regional Partner, as well as on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Deloitte & Touche.
Andy's prior community contributions of time and service include the following organizations. St. Louis University- Board of Trustees, Executive Committee; Dance St. Louis- Board of Trustees, Executive Committee; Repertory Theatre,- Board of Trustees, Executive Committee; St. Anthony's Hospital- Board of Trustees, Executive Committee; Missouri Athletic Club- Board of Trustees, Executive Committee; and Regions Bank- Board Member.
Andy is excited to be a Board Member for Midwest Performing Arts and we thank him for joining our team.
