CONGRATULATIONS to our MPA team - 2010 Competitions |
CONGRATULATIONS to all our Midwest Performing Arts Competition members who competed in the Rainbow Connection National Dance Competition, April 9-11 and at the Spotlight Dance Cup Competition, May 1-2.
The Twinkling Competition Dancers took 1st place overall high score at both competitions.
1st Place Platinum Award and 1st Place Overall High Score for ballet. "Be Our Guest" RAINBOW COMPETITION
1st Place Diamond Award and 1st Place Overall High Score for tap. "Bigger Isn't Better" SPOTLIGHT COMPETITION
The Sensational Competition Dancers took 4 of the top ten placements for their Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, and Poms routines and our Senior Trio took 1s place overall high score.
Other overall high scores:
Rising Poms "Golden Girls" aka Disco Divas 2nd place overall. (Rainbow)
Glistening Poms "Pressure" 8th place overall (Rainbow)
Teen Small Group "Wrong Choices" aka Vegas 8th place overall (Spotlight)
Senior "Broadway Bound" award: Kristen Stazzone
Congrats to the entire team for placing in the top ten, winning many platinum awards, and giving us the best year we have ever had so far. You were all AMAZING and we are lucky to have you here at DANCE, INC.
